Kate Hudson Marvels at Daughter Rani's Golfing Prowess on Easter: 'We're Taking Her Pro'

The actress/singer mom was proud to see her daughter show off some impressive skills

Kate Hudson is soaking up the special moments with her little girl on Easter.

The actress, 44, had fun watching daughter Rani Rose discover her blooming golf skills as they enjoyed a day on the links with friends. The 5½-year-old showed off an impressive swing that her mom thinks shows some promise.

"This Easter marks the day I realized we’re taking her pro ⛳️!" the proud mom captioned the Instagram Reel.

"@lpga_tour here we come! #ranirose (And yes honey, I got it on film 😉) HAPPY EASTER! 🐣," Hudson, who is also mom to sons Bingham, 12, and Ryder, 20, added.

In February, the star told PEOPLE how she is in disbelief that Ryder is no longer a teenager, adding that she was only "a couple years older" than him when she became a mom.

"That's been the wild discovery for me," the Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery star said. "I just can't believe that I was only a couple years older than him when I decided to have a child."

"The fact that we've been able to get through it together like this, and really, honestly, grow up together, has been incredible," Hudson added of her and her son.

Hudson celebrated Ryder's 20th birthday in January, sharing a photo on Instagram of a birthday cake featuring numerical candles for “20," plus white frosting with dark chocolate sprinkles.

“I’m gonna have to let this one digest for a bit..: 😭 My beautiful boy, happy 20th,” the proud mom wrote in her caption. “I love you beyond @mr.ryderrobinson ✨.”
