“There are no indications of third-party negligence.”

Lenhardt’s friend and fellow model Sara Kulka confirmed her death on social media.

“Rest in peace,” Kulka wrote.

“You wonderful person, I miss you and would have liked to say goodbye.

“I hope you find your peace now and I hope the truth comes out now, I know how much you wanted it to be.”

Tragic twist after Lenhardt and Boateng break-up

Tragically, Lenhardt’s death comes just days after her split with Boateng.

The Bayern Munich defender had been dating Lenhardt for over a year before they broke up on Februay 2.

“We will go our separate ways from now on,” Boateng reportedly wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post.

“That is regrettable, but for my family and for me it is the only right one.”

Boateng had issued an apology to the mother of his children (Rebecca), saying he was “disappointed” in himself.

“A man has to take responsibility and act in the interests of his family and I’m doing it now,” Boateng wrote.

“I wish Kasia all the best.”

According to The Mirror, Lenhardt, had claimed she ended the relationship due to Boateng’s “lies and constant infidelity.”

Boateng, 32, has represented Germany at national level 76 times, winning the FIFA World Cup in 2014.

He also represented his country at the 2010 and 2018 World Cups, as well as playing at Euro 2012 and Euro 2016.

He has been granted leave from Bayern Munich's Club World Cup preparations in Qatar to return to Germany.

“We were all really taken with it,” Bayern boss Hansi Flick said on Wednesday.

“Jerome was in my room and asked me to go home. From the club side, we also fulfilled his wish.

“After the corona test, which he also needs to enter Germany, he will travel home and will not be available to us until further notice.

“Jerome came to me and asked me to return home.

“After a negative (COVID-19) test he will return home and not be available until further notice.”
