Kyrgios opens up about feud with Wawrinka

Nick Kyrgios has opened up about his highly-publicised spat with Stan Wawrinka, saying he wants to move on.

The pair are set to team up for the Singapore Slammers in the next round of the International Premier Tennis League, and Kyrgios says he wants to leave history in the past and work together with Wawrinka.

They reportedly haven't spoken since Kyrgios' distasteful on-court sledge in Montreal in August.

"We haven't obviously talked at all," Kyrgios said when asked about his Swiss teammate.

"I think whatever has happened has happened. I think we've got one goal, he's a great player and he's obviously going to be the main guy for our team, so I'm going to do everything I can, whether that’s me being on the bench, you know doing whatever I can to warm him up or whatever.

"Here, I think we all want to win and hopefully we can put everything aside and just do that."

The Slammers currently sit second on the ITPL table, with world number four Wawrinka brought in as a late replacement for Novak Djokovic.

Kyrgios has been the life of the party in the exhibition tournament, clowning around at the expense of teammate Andy Murray recently.

Wonder if he'll be doing the same with Stan?
