The TGL's debut season kicks off Jan. 7, 2025, with a match between The New York Golf Club — Xander Schauffle, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, Cameron Young — and The Bay Golf Club — Wyndham Clark, Ludvig Aberg, Min Woo Lee, Shane Lowry. Now that we're less than a month away from the prime-time event, Rory McIlroy headed to the SoFi Center for an early look at the tech-infused arena.
And it's ridiculous — in a cool way.
The playing area features a 64x53-foot simulator screen, a 22,475-square-foot short-game area and a 41-yard-wide turntable that rotates the green to change approach angles.
Like we said, ridiculous in the coolest way possible.
