India star's cheeky photo with Tim Paine's wife and kids

The sledging game has been taken to a whole new level.

A photo of Rishabh Pant alongside Tim Paine’s wife and kids has gone viral on social media.

Pant and Paine were at the centre of a cheeky sledging battle during the third Test at the MCG.

Referencing the fact that MS Dhoni had been included in India’s ODI squad at the expense of Pant, Paine tried to get the young Indian to stick around in Australia.

The Aussie skipper asked Pant if he’d want to join the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash, suggesting he could do some babysitting while he was in town.

“Big MS (Dhoni) is back in the one-day squad too, we might get him down to the Hurricanes,” Paine was heard saying while Pant was at the crease.

“We need a batter. Fancy that, Pantsy? Extend your little Aussie holiday. Beautiful town Hobart too, I’ll get you a nice apartment on the waterfront.

“Can you babysit? I’ll take the wife to the movies one night and you’ll look after the kids.”

So in reference to the funny banter, Paine’s wife posed for a photo with Pant and her kids on Tuesday.

They crossed paths at Kirribilli House as Prime Minister Scott Morrison hosted both teams before the fourth Test in Sydney.

“Best babysitter,” Bonnie wrote alongside the pic on Instagram.
