Chennai City FC Gokulam FC I-League 2017/2018

Chennai City haven't registered a win since their 2-1 triumph over Mohun Bagan which was five games ago. Their only other win of this season has been against Churchill Brothers (2-0) in December 2017. The struggles have since continued for V Soundararajan's side who have lost twice on the trot and have not scored a single goal in their last four games.

The exit of Murilo Ribeiro de Almeida too puts additional pressure on French striker Jean-Michel Joachim. Edwin Vanspaul and captain Michael Soosairaj will have to shoulder the responsibility.

Currently ninth on the standings table with 9 points from 11 games, three points on Saturday will see the southern outfit jump up by two spots at least temporarily. Having started their campaign with five away games which began with a 3-0 defeat against Indian Arrows, Chennai City will be eager to beat Norton de Matos' charges.

Indian Arrows Chennai City FC I-League 2017/2018

The young Indian Arrows team haven't had much to celebrate of late, other than the 1-0 victory over Gokulam Kerala earlier this month amid the cramped fixtures they have had to endure.

Making matters worse, is the constant change of their home base. Luis Norton de Matos isn't wrong to claim that his boys have no home advantage with the games now being shifted to Goa instead of Delhi where they will stay for the rest of the season.

Arrows have put in competitive performances so far this season and will be hopeful of another positive outing.

Can Norton de Matos' further rub salt on Chennai City's poor season or will Soundarajan's side bounce back?
