Hunter Woodhall | Tokyo 2020 Olympic Profile

Team USA para track and field athlete Hunter Woodhall explains why he thinks Tokyo 2020 will be different for him since Rio 2016 was his first Olympics, and shares how he looks at the Olympics as just another track meet.

HUNTER WOODHALL: Going into Tokyo, for me, is just-- it's so exciting. The biggest thing is like when I went to Rio, I was only 17 years old. So I think I've learned a lot, I've matured a lot. And I'm just going in, I think, with a better mindset and more confident in myself and just kind of understanding what the Paralympic Games and everything they bring has to offer.

Because it can be a whirlwind on your first time around, and there's so many things coming from so many different directions. And it's just insane. So being able to kind of go there and understand that at the end of the day, this is just a track meet, and my job is to perform the best I can and bring a medal home for the US, it makes that a lot more simple this time around. So I'm excited.
