Hulk Hogan booed on Netflix's first 'WWE Raw' while promoting new beer
"Hulkamania" was not running wild during the first WWE Monday Night Raw event streamed on Netflix.
WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan came out to greet the crowd, but it didn’t seem to go as well as he thought as the crowd booed him. There was a clear distaste for Hogan, and the crowd only got louder as Hogan spoke.

"You, the fans, have been my greatest tag team partner because you guys have stuck with me through thick and thin dudes," Hogan said to the crowd. "You know, I got a new tag-team partner right now. I got Hulk Hogan’s Real American Beer."
The boos continued.
"And in the past, I’ve had a whole bunch of partners down the line," he continued. "I’ve had incredible partners like 'ooh ya' the Macho Man Randy Savage. I’ve had giant-size partners, like Andre the Giant. But the greatest partner the WWE has ever had, is the fact that tonight, we’re making history, and the WWE has tag-teamed up with Netflix, the greatest tag-team partner of all time."

Hogan, 71, is a wrestling legend who competed in the ring from 1977-2012, winning six WWE championships and six WCW championships during his 35-year career.
Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, transcended wrestling and became a pop culture icon. He's had roles in commercials, television shows and movies, including in Rocky III, and has lent his voice to animated characters and video games. He also had his own reality TV show "Hogan Knows Best," which launched in 2005 on VH1.
Hogan has been involved in controversial incidents, including steroid use, a leaked sex tape and a recording of him using racist language that resulted in his temporary removal from the WWE Hall of Fame.
In recent years, Hogan has become involved in politics, supporting President-elect Donald Trump. He made a speech at the 2024 Republican National Convention and ripped his shirt off to the cheers of those in attendance while calling for "Trumpmania" to run wild.
