Heslop wins 2024 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series

Aidan Heslop has become the youngest diver to win the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series at the age of 22.

The Plymouth-born diver, who has twice been runner-up, finished fifth in the final event in Australia to secure victory.

Heslop finished the eight-stage competition on 113 points, 16 clear of America's James Lichtenstien in second.

The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series sees divers compete from a 27m (88ft) high platform.

Each diver is scored on four different dives, and the winner of each stage is the competitor with the highest collective score.

Heslop won four of the eight stages in 2024, winning in the United States, Canada, Turkey and Northern Ireland.
