Kansas City Chiefs receiver DeAndre Hopkins had one of the best pregame outfits ahead of Super Bowl 59 on Sunday, donning a dapper mink coat as he arrived at Caesars Superdome.

The coat has an even better story behind it.

According to ESPN's Jeff Darlington, Hopkins' late father, Harris, left it to him after he passed away in a car accident in 1992 when Hopkins was just five months old.

Hopkins apparently promised himself he would wear the coat on his wedding day or to the Super Bowl, whichever came first. Now, as he looks to help the Chiefs win their third straight world championship against the Philadelphia Eagles, that day has come.

Hopkins joined the Chiefs in October when the Tennessee Titans traded him for a conditional fifth-round pick, and he's been impactful since joining the team. He totaled 437 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games during the regular season, though he only has one catch so far in the postseason.

The three-time First-Team All-Pro had a top-notch pregame fit that had an incredible story to go along with it, and he'll now look to capture the first Super Bowl title in his 12-year career.
