'Winning takes care of everything' for Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods has found a new love and after registering his 99th professional win on Tuesday, he is officially the world's No.1 golfer again.

And according to his major sponsor Nike, that 'takes care of everything'.

Just hours after Woods triumphed in the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Florida, Nike released a picture celebrating their client's return to the top of the golfing world.

Posted on Facebook, the picture claimed that 'winning takes care of everything'.

The quote originally came from Tiger himself when he was asked in September last year about his return to form.

Nike didn't specify what they meant by 'everything' in this instance, but it was undoubtedly a reference to Tiger's philandering ways of the past.

Tiger's return to golf's summit is the first time he has been ranked No.1 in the world since October 2010.

Back then, Woods's life on and off the course was falling apart after he admitted to a string of extra-marital affairs.

The highly-publicised scandal led to the break-up of his marriage to Elin Nordegren and as a consequence, his golf game failed him.

Obviously affected by the scandal and a series of injuries, Woods saw his ranking drop out of the top 50 and had many experts fearing he would never make it to the top again.

But Tiger has turned his life and career around.

His win in Florida was his third of the season and he is a raging hot favourite for next month's US Masters, a tournament he has already won four times.

His life off the course is flourishing as well, recently revealing that he is dating Olympic ski champion Lindsey Vonn.

"I enjoy competing, I enjoy winning golf tournaments and especially major championships," Woods said on Tuesday.

"To have, at one point in my career, had all four of them on my coffee table in a row was a pretty neat feeling."

Whether that 'takes care of everything' is another matter.
