Overconfident amateur golfer suffers hilarious mishap

A weekend hacker in the US has suffered a side-splitting mishap while attempting a tricky shot, but his friends' reactions are possibly even funnier.

According to video caption on Instagram, this gentleman is Mike Ferik, playing hole No. 15 at the Alta Vista Country Club in Placentia, California.

Ferik carefully attempts to position himself to play his shot perilously close to the water hazard.

At first, it looks like he might pull it off, but then the inevitable happens.
