'Pretty serious': Eugenie Bouchard reportedly dating NFL star
If there’s one thing fans are more interested in than Eugenie Bouchard’s tennis career, it would have to be her love life.
And it appears as though the Canadian star has a new boyfriend.

According to TMZ, Bouchard has been dating Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph.
“A source close to the couple tells us the two began a romantic fling recently, and have gotten pretty serious,” the publication reported.
The 26-year-old Bouchard posted a photo at a Pittsburgh restaurant recently, with Rudolph among those to ‘like’ the post.
According to TMZ, Rudolph was “presumably on the other end of the camera.”

Rudulph is currently serving as the Steelers’ back-up QB.
The 25-year-old made global headlines in 2019 after a crazy melee with the Cincinnati Bengals’ Miles Garrett, who took Rudolph’s helmet off and swung it at him.
Eugenie Bouchard’s stunning resurgence
Bouchard has risen to World No.168 following a stunning resurgence in recent months.
After bursting onto the tennis scene in 2014 and rising as high as World No.5, she’s struggled for consistency and plummeted down the rankings in recent years.
She fell way down into the 300s at one stage, but has managed to fight her way back and was granted a wildcard to play in the French Open.
After two victories she fell to Polish teen sensation Iga Swiatek in the third round.
Swiatek has made it all the way to the final, where she will battle Sofia Kenin for a chance at her maiden grand slam title.
Earlier this year Bouchard sent fans into a frenzy with a tweet about her relationship status.
In March she said she was sick of being in quarantine amid the coronavirus crisis and declared it would be a lot more fun with a boyfriend.
“Not complaining, but i feel like quarantine would be a lot more fun with a boyfriend,” she wrote.
Bouchard was flooded with replies, even getting one from Aussie tennis bad-boy Nick Kyrgios.

In May she raised AU$133,000 for charity after a fan forked out for a dinner date with her.
Bouchard put herself and a trip to watch her play up for auction as part of the ‘All In Challenge’ for American charity 15 Seconds of Fame.
Thirty-seven bids were made, ranging from US$25,000 to the insane winning bid of US$85,000.
“This … is insane … you guys are amazing!!!” Bouchard posted on Instagram after the auction.
“I’m so grateful and proud of you all for joining me on this project. I can’t wait to meet the winner!”

“The lucky winner and a guest will go to any tennis tournament of their choice.
“That’s right, US Open, French Open, Wimbledon or the Australian Open – Genie has the airfare covered.
“Sit in the player’s box next to Genie’s team and coach while you cheer her on to victory.
“Enjoy a meal with the tennis star and even get a racquet and sneakers signed by Genie herself.”
