Kariobangi Sharks striker bashed for 'careless' comments

Kariobangi Sharks striker Masoud Juma has been bashed for his 'small club' comment made in reference to AFC Leopards or Gor Mahia.

The Harambee Stars striker hit the headline when he categorically stated that he is not interested in joining either Gor Mahia of AFC Leopards, adding that if he were to leave Sharks, then it must be for a 'big' club.

His sentiments did not go down well with the supporters of the two clubs who bashed him for his 'careless' utterances.

Former Ingwe striker Boniface Ambani thinks the 'young boy' needs some advice.

"I just hope and believe this is not true. If it is, the young boys have to learn to handle stardom. It is always good to stay on your feet. It is always good to respect your fans. It is always good to respect the top clubs in any given nation. That is the best way to grow up;  as a player is to stay calm and keep off issues like this and you will receive support from all walks of life.

"Football life is a journey and you need everyone on board. AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia are bigger than Sharks. It is a fact, yes it is not a must he plays for those two teams but I believe #Respect will earn him more friends and more support than he thinks, keep cool. Keep Calm." Ambani posted on his Social Media page.

Juma scored 17 goals for his team last season to finish as KPL top scorer.
