With series of complaints of poor officiating and concerns for security sweeping across league matches, Ikefe states that his team is not bothered about those.
"With regards to security, that's left for our officials and league organisers to decide on . About officiating, it's none of our business. Ours' is to go out there and play good football," Ikefe told Goal.
"And the better performer in the match comes out top. It's about taking chances, excuses aren't an option in the game. If you convert your chances then you will smile at the end.
"We are only focused on our game, play well and get good result, that's the drive and it will push us higher by the end of the season."
Tornadoes currently sit 10th in the NPFL standings, but Ikefe wants his side to remain focused till the end of the campaign.
"We have always taken each match as it comes and we only talk about points earned and not points that hasn't been secured yet.
"For us at Niger Tornadoes, staying focused till the end is what matters to us the most. We aren't carried away by the cheers, instead we shall continue to stay focused till the finish line as we work on making the top three."
