Rakitic dishes on Messi's fix for noisy neighbours

Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi needs to be in peak condition for his long campaign with the La Liga outfit and Argentina.

Injuries and niggles may be part of the game but there are some things he can control.

His home life, for example.

Barcelona teammate Ivan Rakitic has revealed that Messi was so desperate to avoid his noisy neighbours that he took action in the best possible way.

"With the neighbors have no problem, as it is, for example, had Messi when he bought a house in Castelldefels," Rakitic told Croatian outlet Novi List.

"The neighbors were a bit loud, so Leo had to buy their house to be alone."

Rakitic hasn't completed a similar task matters but he did have one problem around the time his second baby was born.

And he's already plotting his revenge.

"Once it happened that the people who live near us organised a celebration for the 18th birthday of his daughter," he said.

"One evening her father knocked on the door and said apologetically if it's a little loud, because they have a party. I said, of course, there are no problems, but I did not know that he had hired a DJ.

"It was like in a real disco, and Adara had just been born. Boy, it took until the morning.

"We have not yet organised a similar birthday party, but we will reciprocate! I do not know if we will stay here until Althea and Adara become adults, but we'll get them anyway."

Rakitic added that he has still never walked the famous Las Ramblas tourist strip, despite joining Barcelona in 2014.
