Journo embarrassed as Jose Mourinho answers his phone

Some journalists will never learn, but at least Jose Mourinho is here to help.

The Manchester United boss was answering questions at his weekly press conference yesterday when a phone began to ring in front of him.

Mourinho immediately stopped speaking before picking the phone up to assess who was calling.

"Hello?"

After some silence and a quick shake of the head, Mourinho pulls the phone away from his ear and speaks to the press pack.

"It's from Talksport," he said.

The Portuguese was in good spirits despite the interruption, telling the person on the other end to "wait a second" as he handed the phone over.

"You shouldn't be doing that now, Abs, not for an hour," the journo said after receiving his phone.

That said, he might have indirectly punished the journalist anyway.

After Mourinho handed the phone over he returned to normal proceedings, the embarrassed member of the press would seemingly miss the final part of the interview in his recording.

Let's hope he didn't say anything too important ahead of the Red Devils' clash with rivals Liverpool.
