Goalkeeper embarrassed by stunning 60m volley

Universidad de Concepcion midfielder Alejandro Camargo has embarrassed an opposing goalkeeper with a stunning volley from inside his own half.

Leading their Chilean Primera Division rivals O'Higgins 2-1 with just seconds remaining, Concepcion were looking to defend a quick counter attack as Miguel Angel Pinto launched a long kick.

Camargo ran onto the ball and belted it to perfection.

The Argentine's volley was hit so sweetly that it landed in the goals on the full.

"The coach told us Pinto was always playing in advance of his goal so I closed my eyes and hit it," Camargo said after the game, suggesting it was the simplest of tasks.

The win lifted Concepcion off the bottom of the 16-team ladder and dropped O'Higgins to fourth.
