Goalkeeper makes point-blank save with his face

Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando capped off a brilliant double save by deflecting a certain goal with his face.

During his side's MLS clash with Houston Dynamo recently, Rimando somehow kept his opponents out with a huge back-to-back effort.

With his side up 2-1 and Houston on the attack, the keeper deflected a low shot onto the post before getting back up and making another save from close range.

Replays showed the ball smashing him in the face and bouncing away, and whether on purpose or not, it was still an amazing display.
