Football star's stunning public admission to estranged wife
Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is sorry he couldn’t make his estranged wife Bre Tiesi “truly happy.”
Manziel issued a grovelling public apology to Tiesi in a since-deleted Instagram post Saturday.
In the post, the 26-year-old Manziel wished Tiesi a happy birthday.
He then started by saying, “There would be no life for me without you having come into mine.”
“Through everything we’ve overcome I just want to say I’m sorry.
“For not being there more and doing what I can to make you truly happy.
“You deserve it all and then some. Love ya for life.”

‘Vows were broken’
In March, the 26-year-old Tiesi deleted all pictures of Manziel from her own Instagram.
In a now-deleted comment, Tiesi said “vows were broken.”
Manziel confirmed the two had split in late March, asking for privacy.

After getting released by the Browns following the 2015 season, Manziel has bounced around in different football leagues looking to prove himself.
He still wants to play in the NFL.
Manziel’s next shot at showing scouts he still has something left in the tank could come with the XFL. The league released its 2020 schedule Monday.
