Footballer Raul Bobadilla could find himself in a bit of a pickle after officials decided to investigate his celebration after he appeared to expose himself after a goal.

The 33-year-old forward was in raptures after scoring a late winner for his Club Guarani in their clash against Libertad in the Paraguayan League.

The forward raced to the corner and before his teammates could catch up to him, Bobadilla ripped off his shirt and then proceeded to lower his pants in front of the camera.

His teammates caught up to him and he stopped going any lower down.

The referee appeared to miss the celebration in the mayhem and went unpunished during the game.

Officials reviewing celebration after media scrutiny

But officials have reviewed the footage, after media attention, and Bobadilla could be facing retrospective action for his celebration.

“I regret my celebration last night,” Bobadilla told the media in Spanish.

Fortunately for Bobadilla, the incident wasn’t reviewed straight away and he will be free to play the next game before a potential suspension is handed down.

Raul Pruno, from the Acociacion Paraguaya de Futbol (APF), said the media had led them to the inquiry.
