Lionel Messi has allegedly directed an x-rated slur at a rival trainer during Argentina’s 2-1 win over Bolivia.

Argentina defeated Bolivia in a heated World Cup qualifier on Wednesday, which resulted in a scuffle at the end of the match.

Messi was at the centre of the scuffle and appeared to get heated with Bolivia trainer Lucas Nava as he entered the pitch.

But Argentine network TyC Sports alleges the six-time Ballon d’Or winner blasted the trainer with a foul-mouthed rant.

“The c*** of your mother. What’s up baldie?” he allegedly said.

Messi unhappy with sideline antics

The Barcelona forward appeared to accuse the trainer of targeting him during the game from the sideline.

“You were screaming the whole game. What are you doing? From the bench you are yelling at me the whole game,” he allegedly said.

Nava is said to be a fan of Messi and it is unclear what was said to spark the scuffle.

Argentina has recorded two wins in their two World Cup qualifying matches.

Bolivia on the other hand have lost their opening two matches after Brazil gave them a 5-1 thumping.
