Footballer slammed for 'disgusting' comment about girl, 8, on Instagram
Irish football player Armstrong Okoflex has caused uproar after making an inappropriate remark about a young girl.
The 18-year-old is being investigated by his club Celtic, over a comment he made about an eight-year-old girl.

Okoflex, who is a youth team player for the Scottish club, was hosting an Instagram Live where he invited viewers to get involved and provide “entertainment”.
The girl at the centre of the controversy came on with her mother to tell a joke, before leaving the social media session a short time later.
Okoflex then remarked: "That's cute. She's one of them ones, that she'll probably be peng when she's older."
Peng is a slang term likened to "fit" or "hot" that is often used to describe someone as being attractive.
However, the fact the player used it in reference to an eight-year-old girl has left many people outraged, with some calling for Celtic to sack him.
It's not the Celtic way...unfortunately it's in all walks of life and anyone who is involved with the abuse of children should be demonized..okoflex has made a disgusting remark about a minor and like myself and every other decent @CelticFC fan he should never play for us again.

Okoflex saying an 8 year old girl will look “peng” when she’s older is disgusting 🤢🤢

Just don’t get anyone’s logic behind defending that Okoflex. If anyone said that they’d be called a beast. Just because he’s a footballer doesn’t mean he should be treated any different.

Aye folk talking about Armstrong Okoflex’s comment being “not as bad as it sounds” or blown out of proportion, but he is an adult and represents an organisation who should know better.

Nah there’s honestly no sympathising with Okoflex here. Don’t care that he’s only just turned 18. We were all 18 once and I can safely say I never made comments about sexualising an 8 year old

According to the Scottish Sun, a spokesperson for Celtic has confirmed the club are in the process of dealing with the controversy.
"The matter will be investigated and the appropriate action will be taken."
The young midfielder only last week called out social media followers for racially abusing him.
Premier League star in hot water after wild sex party
Okoflex is not the only football player in Britain to have sparked controversy in recent days, with Everton’s Moise Kean condemned for breaching lockdown rules and hosting a wild sex party.
The Premier League club and football community have been left fuming after the player filmed himself in a wild house party with friends in what is a clear breach of social distancing regulations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The video was posted to a private Snapchat group with the subject: "quarantine clean".
In the footage several female lap dancers can be seen touching the crotches of several men gathered at the party.
The wild sex party reportedly didn’t wrap up until the early hours of the morning.
Kean is likely to face disciplinary action, with his club and fans bemused by the player’s lack of judgement.
"Everton Football Club was appalled to learn of an incident in which a first team player ignored Government guidance and club policy in relation to the coronavirus crisis," a club statement read.
"The club has strongly expressed its disappointment to the player and made it clear that such actions are completely unacceptable.
"Everton has regularly stressed the importance of following all the Government guidelines - including rules and advice for inside and outside of the home - through a series of official communications to all staff members, including players.
"The amazing people in the NHS deserve the utmost respect for their hard work and sacrifice. The best way to show them respect is by doing everything we can to protect them."
Everton are reportedly set to fine Kean two weeks’ worth of wages - which works out to be around 160,000 pounds (A$308,000).
