'Very rude': Camila Cabello cops backlash after fiery deleted-tweet
Champions League final performer and singing superstar Camila Cabello has copped the wrath from football fans after taking aim at the crowd in a since-deleted tweet.
Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 1-0 in a Champions League final that started 37 minutes late because of disturbing crowd issues outside the Stade de France in Paris.

Winger Vinicius Junior applied a close-range finish in the 59th minute from Federico Valverde's drive across the face of goal, securing a Saturday night win that gave Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti a record fourth European Cup title.
International pop sensation Cabello performed ahead of the match in a glamorous routine, which saw her perform a mix of her songs.
However, Cabello was performing inside the stadium at the same time a number of Liverpool fans were being pepper sprayed outside as they tried to make their way into the Stade de France.
On top of that, fans inside the stadium were heard chanting team songs over the top of Cabello's six-minute routine.
This prompted Cabello to let rip at those in attendance, in a now-deleted post.
“Playing back our performance and I can’t believe people were singing their teams anthems so loud during our performance," she wrote.
"Like, my team and I worked tireless for so long to bring right vibes and give a good show.
“Very rude but whatever. I’M GLAD U GUYS LOVED IT!!!!!"
Camilla Cabello cops criticism after tweet
While Cabello received a huge amount of support for her sensational performance, she also appeared to annoy a number of fans with her message.
Many claimed that none of the passionate supporters are there for the music performance.
While others claimed the scenes outside overshadowed the scenes inside the stadium.
Hahaha this serves them right for trying to Americanise football. They paid to see a football game not a Camilla Cabello concert. Do you think that Peter, 53, from Toxteth is gonna be singing Señorita after drinking lager since 8:30am in Central Paris? pic.twitter.com/AIBdmkqrtW

Camila Cabello is an award winning artist who was booed by the stadium after that performance. I'm sure she's a great artist and everything but UEFA need to realise absolutely no one gives a damn, fans have come to watch the #UCLFinal.

Really unfair treatment of Camila Cabello. 4 years of Champions League finals and her tweets have provided the most entertainment pic.twitter.com/siYUUXiYV1

Now-deleted tweet from @Camila_Cabello. Self-absorbed, moronic, tasteless.
Nobody in that stadium cared and I can measure those outside being tear-gassed cared even less. pic.twitter.com/SX5LmKaAQq— Jack Lusby (@LusbyJack) May 28, 2022
Camila Cabello singing and dancing while fans are tear gassed outside the stadium is peak football

Anything more UEFA than playing Camila Cabello while fans are being pepper sprayed?

Camila Cabello’s performance was so beautiful. It gave me World Cup vibes not only Champions League. Her bringing culture back to football is incredible.

Can they also delay Camila Cabello's performance until tomorrow because I assure you not a single football fan in the world cares

It's a football match not a concert 😒 pic.twitter.com/b3EfIpF6OT

Regardless, Cabello took to social media following her act to explain how excited and honoured she was to perform at the Champions League final.
I grew up watching soccer with my family and the energy in there was SO ELECTRIC I had so much fun watching afterwards too. ✨✨✨✨
Thank you so much to my team and the dancers and musicians and creatives that worked so hard on this show !!!— camila (@Camila_Cabello) May 29, 2022

Champions League final clouded in chaos
Ahead of her performance, the match was marred when police appeared to pepper spray Liverpool fans who were attempting to get into the stadium.
For many, especially Liverpool fans, pre-match crowd issues overshadowed this final and are sure to be the focus of an investigation by UEFA and authorities in the coming days.
Riot police fired tear gas and pepper spray at supporters waiting in long lines to get into European football's showpiece game, whose kickoff was delayed
Stadium security in Paris appeared to block a number of Liverpool fans from entering the stadium even though they had tickets.
One fan said: "It's absolutely shambolic. The French, their organisation, and UEFA, it's just horrendous."
