Flooding Swamps Loft Apartment in Dallas

Heavy rain and flash flooding swamped a loft apartment in Dallas, Texas, on August 22.

Flash floods struck the Dallas area overnight into Monday, sparking disaster for local resident Andre Furrari, who recorded this footage when he returned home to a waterlogged apartment.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth extended its flash flood warning in and around Dallas County until 10 a.m. Central time, warning of a continued risk for “life-threatening flash flooding.”
