Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season is over after a thrilling weekend of football.
And if you play fantasy football, you’re already planning ahead with waivers after a busy slate of games.
That’s what we’re here for, a roundup of some of the players you could be targeting ahead of Week 8.
Some of the names below might be taken already, but if not, there are a bunch of dudes who could change your fantasy fortunes this season. Let’s run through them, in no particular order, and we’ve updated this after the two primetime matchups we're saw on Monday Night Football.
1. QB Drake Maye, New England Patriots
Hey, you know what? He's not bad! Over 243 yards in each of his first two starts and at least two touchdowns, plus some rushing yards. That's streamable, especially when the Pats will trail a lot.
2. RB Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers
We know he's got talent. And in Week 7, he finally got some good work against the Jets. I think he's going to be a factor the second half of the season.
3. WR Jauan Jennings, San Francisco 49ers
If Brandon Aiyuk is out, we know this guy can perform. However, there's the guy below that might be a problem.
4. WR Ricky Pearsall, San Francisco 49ers
After he was a first-round pick and then was shot, he's started to play. He's absolutely worth a pickup with the Aiyuk injury.
5. WR Cedric Tillman, Cleveland Browns
He grabbed 8-of-12 targets on Sunday for 81 yards, and someone besides David Njoku has to catch the football from whoever is the QB in Cleveland.
6. WR Trey Palmer, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Chris Godwin is injured. Mike Evans is also injured. Seems like Palmer could be next man up.
