You’re waking up on Tuesday reading all that you can about the players that you should be picking up off the waiver wire as you prepare for Week 11 of fantasy football in 2024.
But it’s likely there aren’t as many things written about who you should be dropping to grab those players. That’s what this weekly column — keep ’em or dump ’em! — will hopefully answer for you: Some help in the debate over who you should keep or drop in order to improve your team.
With more byes, the fantasy trade deadline for many leagues approaching and injuries, you need the waiver wire more than ever, which is not the best this week. Let’s help you with that.
1. WR Demarcus Robinson, Los Angeles Rams
He's had exactly three games of three catches or more. Now that the Rams' WRs are healthy, you can let him go.
VERDICT: Drop him
2. RB Kimani Vidal, Los Angeles Chargers
If you're in a keeper or dynasty league, you hold on to him. But otherwise?
VERDICT: Drop him
3. RB Jaleel McLaughlin, Denver Broncos
Audric Estime and Javonte Williams are ahead on the depth chart. You can let him go.
VERDICT: Drop him
4. RB Devin Singletary, New York Giants
It's Tyrone Tracy Jr.'s job now.
VERDICT: Drop him
5. RB Jonathon Brooks, Carolina Panthers
I had some high hopes for him to jump in later this year after recovering from an ACL tear, but it feels like Chuba Hubbard is too good.
VERDICT: Drop him
6. QB Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
It's sort of the same story with him -- he's got amazing weapons and a great offense, but he doesn't run much and the team does run more than you think. If you're in a 1QB league, he's safe to drop.
