F1 ace shares images of injury after horror crash
Formula One driver Romain Grosjean has shared an image of his hands, which were seriously burned in his fiery accident at the Bahrain Grand Prix in November, to his Instagram.
The images of Grosjean’s high speed crash, which saw his Haas F1 car split in two after it became wedged in a barrier while travelling at more than 200kph and erupt into a ball of flame, shocked sports fans across the world.

‘SAD DAY’: Australia rocked by motorsport legend's death
Grosjean miraculously walked away from the crash, with burns to his hands the only serious injury of note.
The 32-year-old, who had hoped to compete in this weekend’s season ending Abu Dhabi GP, shared the images to social media to update fans on his recovery.
While his left hand remains thoroughly bandaged, he has been allowed to remove the bandages on his right.
“Bloody hell, makes me super happy to have my right hand free from dressings,” he wrote in Instagram.
“Loads of creaming all day long but it feels (so) good to see it in such good shape.
“Waiting for my left hand to recover now.”
Grosjean had hoped to recover in time for the Abu Dhabi race, which would likely have been his last in Formula One after Haas opted against signing him and teammate Kevin Magnussen for the 2021 season.
Instead the team signed Formula 2 champion Mick Schumacher, son of seven-time F1 champ Michael, and Nikita Mazepin, the well-backed Russian driver who finished fifth in the F2 standings.
Hamilton back for Mercedes in season-ender
Seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton will return for Mercedes in Sunday's season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after testing negative for COVID-19.
Hamilton was replaced for last weekend's Sakhir Grand Prix in Bahrain by fellow Briton George Russell, who was unlucky not to win.
Mercedes said on Thursday that Hamilton, 35, had already arrived at the Yas Marina circuit after ending 10 days of quarantine in Bahrain.
Russell will now return to Williams, his regular team, with their reserve Jack Aitken standing down after his race debut last weekend.
"Lewis tested negative for COVID-19 on Wednesday prior to completion of his self-isolation period in Bahrain," Mercedes said in a statement.
"This enabled him to travel to Abu Dhabi on Thursday afternoon and he tested negative on arrival.
"Lewis has therefore completed the protocols required by the FIA for his entry to the paddock tomorrow and will be able to take part in the race weekend," added the team.
The FIA confirmed separately that Hamilton would be granted access to the paddock after testing negative in both Bahrain and Abu Dhabi.
