What to expect from Monday's transfer deadline day
Title challengers, European contenders and relegation-threatened sides have one last chance to boost their squads this season.
The English and Scottish transfer windows both close at 23:00 GMT on Monday, 3 February and there promises to be a flurry of late activity with teams looking to strengthen.
One of the biggest names expected to move before the deadline was Marcus Rashford, whose loan switch to Aston Villa was confirmed on Sunday.
Another of Manchester United's attackers - Alejandro Garnacho - could also be on the move, with Chelsea and Napoli linked with the Argentine.
Amorim says the Red Devils need to sell academy products to help the club's financial situation, though he has stated his desire to keep Garnacho.
As always there will be rumours, shock moves, late deals and others that fall through for some reason.
BBC Sport has picked out some of the major talking points going into deadline day.
Which deals could happen?
Aston Villa are set to sign Spain midfielder Marco Asensio on loan from Paris St-Germain until the end of the season.
Boss Unai Emery said his side "need new players" following Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Wolves, which left the club eighth in the Premier League.
Brighton striker Evan Ferguson is set reunite with former boss Graham Potter and join West Ham on loan until the end of the season. The Hammers will pay a loan fee, Ferguson's wages and any add-ons for the 20-year-old.
Manchester City are keen on signing Porto midfielder Nico Gonzalez and sources in Portugal say City have already had a bid turned down for the 23-year-old former Barcelona player.
Brazilian club Flamengo say Everton have "reached an agreement" to sign midfielder Carlos Alcaraz on a loan deal.
England defender Ben Chilwell has been linked with a move away from Chelsea, with Crystal Palace among those interested.
Will Arsenal sign a striker?
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says he is "actively looking" to sign a striker in the January transfer window who is able to "make an impact", but finding the right target has proved easier said than done.
The Gunners have lost Gabriel Jesus to a season-ending injury and Kai Havertz, despite being the club's top scorer this season, is often criticised for missing chances - although he scored in Sunday's 5-1 win over Manchester City.
Arsenal have had a bid rejected by Villa for Ollie Watkins, with Unai Emery insisting the England striker is happy at the club. Alexander Isak is also a player who has been regularly linked to the Gunners, but is very unlikely to leave Newcastle.
RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko and Wolves' Matheus Cunha - who has just signed a new contract at Molineux - have also been mentioned as potential targets.
But with time running out, can Arsenal get a deal over the line?

Will Spurs spend big to ease injury crisis?
Tottenham - hit by an injury crisis all season - need new players, with manager Ange Postecoglou keen to strengthen the squad.
They are currently languishing in 14th in the Premier League, but are in contention for three other trophies this season.
Goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky's £12.5m move from Slavia Prague was an early addition, before the north London club pipped Wolves to the loan signing of Lens defender Kevin Danso on Sunday.
Despite Danso's arrival an injury to centre-back Radu Dragusin in last week's Europa League win over Elfsborg could force Spurs into the market for another defensive player, with AC Milan's England defender Fikayo Tomori and Chelsea's France international Axel Disasi among reported targets.
Bayern Munich's French striker Mathys Tel has been linked, though Spurs reportedly face competition from Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Villa for the 19-year-old.
Gamble to survive?
Relegation from the Premier League could cost a club tens of millions of pounds, so is it worth gambling on new signings now to help avoid the drop?
Bottom club Southampton got a morale-boosting win at second-bottom Ipswich on Saturday but are still 10 points from safety, though boss Ivan Juric is playing down suggestions of any further activity.
The Tractor Boys, three points from safety, have already brought in Jaden Philogene, Ben Godfrey and Julio Enciso this month, but have just lost Wes Burns to a season-ending knee injury.
Boss Kieran McKenna says he will not make any "late panicked decisions", but would make a move if the right player became available.
In contrast, Leicester boss Ruud Van Nistelrooy says he will work "until the last second" of the window to bring in new players, with the Foxes dropping back into the bottom three after an eighth defeat in nine games at Everton on Saturday.
Wolves were the beneficiaries after beating Villa to rise to 17th, with news of Cunha's new contract a further boost.
And boss Vitor Pereira also says he is targeting a midfielder and a centre-back to try to ensure his side stay above the drop zone.
Which deals have already been completed in the window?
Manchester City have already made three big-money signings - signing Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush (£59m), Palmeiras defender Vitor Reis (£29.6m) and Lens centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov (£33.6m).
Ipswich spent about £20m to sign winger Jaden Philogene from Aston Villa, who in turn spent £19m on Netherlands forward Donyell Malen from Borussia Dortmund.
Manchester United have brought in Denmark defender Patrick Dorgu from Lecce for £25m and England Under-19s international Ayden Heaven from Arsenal for an undisclosed fee.
Tottenham signed Slavia Prague goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky for £12.5m and Lens defender Kevin Danso on loan with a commitment to buy for £21m.
Crystal Palace added teenage Millwall winger Romain Esse for a reported £12m, while Wolves have paid £16.6m to sign Reims defender Emmanuel Agbadou.
Brighton's signing of Paraguay midfielder Diego Gomez from Inter Miami was for an undisclosed fee, but reports value the deal at about £11m.
There was also an EFL signing for £10m, with Championship promotion chasers Sheffield United bringing in Republic of Ireland striker Tom Cannon from Leicester.
Leaders Liverpool, title rivals Arsenal and Chelsea are some of the seven teams yet to sign anyone.
The joint biggest January signing in the world (along with Marmoush) was Paris St-Germain's purchase of Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for a reported £59m.
But the Georgian is an outlier - with none of Europe's other top clubs making big-money signings.
The next biggest signing - after City's trio - is Botafogo winger Luiz Henrique's reported £27.8m move to Russian side Zenit St Petersburg.
Frankfurt paid about £21.9m to sign Marmoush's replacement - Marseille forward Elye Wahi.
Those are the only £20m-plus transfers not involving Premier League teams in January.
