WA Police will allege Shannon John Cox, 38, was behind the wheel of the Toyota Prado travelling southbound when it collided with a Suzuki Ignis hatchback travelling north.

The white Volvo road train was also travelling northbound on the same road near the intersection of Waddi Rd.

Five St John ambulances and two RAC Rescue helicopters were deployed to the scene, however, the helicopters were later stood down and not required to attend.
