'So in love': Erin Phillips and wife welcome birth of third child

AFLW star Erin Phillips has welcomed her third child with wife Tracy Gahan.

The Adelaide Crows premiership player took to Instagram on Thursday to announce the birth of son Drew Chayce Phillips.

"Welcome to the world beautiful boy," she wrote. "We are so in love with you."

The newest member to the Phillips-Gahan family was born in the USA, where Phillips is currently coaching the Dallas Wings in the WNBA.

Some of her Crows teammates were among those to send congratulations.

"CONGRATULATIONS FAM! So exciting. Love you all!!!" said fellow premiership star Ebony Marinoff.

"Yaaaay! Congratulations Flip, Tracy and family! Can't wait to meet him!" said Stevie-Lee Thompson.

Phillips and Gahan, who married in 2014 in the US, also have two-year-old twins Blake and Brooklyn together.

Phillips paid an emotional tribute to Gahan after taking out the AFLW's inaugural best and fairest award in 2017.

"Every bit of this is owed to you," Phillips said at the time.

"I love you and thank you so much."
