Emily Maitlis hasn't seen Netflix's Scoop yet
Emily Maitlis has revealed that she hasn't seen Netflix's Scoop yet.
The biographical drama sees Sex Education star Gillian Anderson transform into the former Newsnight journalist, who sat down with Prince Andrew for a televised chat about his relationship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaking to Deadline, Maitlis explained that she hasn't watched the film ahead of its premiere on Friday (April 5), but said that she would "get around to it at some stage."

"I've left them very much to do their own thing because I think the last thing they want is me peeking around the edges offering my [views]," she added.
The journalist is an executive producer of three-part Prime Video series A Very Royal Scandal, which is based on the same interview.
Maitlis went on to explain how the film differs from the series, saying: "It says it's based on a fictional account, so I think it goes into different places and it does different things [to the Amazon series]."
Her spokesperson later clarified that the term "fictional account" was used to described Scoop as a "dramatisation."
The film puts former Newsnight producer Sam McAlister (played by Billie Piper) at the centre of the story, after she booked the infamous interview.
Maitlis shared her support for her former running mate, explaining that she was "very excited" about the film and that McAlister had taken the story to "brand new heights."
