Elite League leaders Devils beaten by Panthers
Leaders Cardiff Devils fell to a second defeat of the weekend in the Elite League, losing 3-1 away to Nottingham Panthers.
Hunter Shinkaruk returned to the Devils team after injury and played a part in setting up the opening goal for Joey Martin inside the opening four minutes.
Sam Herr levelled for the hosts before Otto Nieminen put them ahead after Devils netminder Ben Bowns had denied Didrik Henbrant.
Henbrant sealed victory for Panthers in the final period.
Devils are away to Coventry Blaze in the Challenge Cup on Wednesday, 11 December.
