Draymond Green has no idea who the Boomers are

Despite playing alongside Aussie Andrew Bogut for four season with the Golden State Warriors, Team USA star Draymond Green isn't too familiar with the green and gold.

When asked by a reporter “How disappointed will you be when you lose to the Boomers?” Green had no idea what he was on about.

“To who? The Boomers?” he queried.

After it was explained that the Boomers were in fact the Australian National Team, a chuckling Green refused to take the bait.

Although the Warriors big man did have plenty of pleasantries for his former teammate Andrew Bogut.

“I know what Bogut brings to a team, I know it well,” Green said.

“He brings a defensive presence, a very great defensive presence. He’s a very athletic big man. A very skilled big man.

"And when I’ve seen him play earlier in his career in the Olympics he looks to score more. He brings a lot to a team and I’m sure they’re happy to have him playing.”
