A devastated Patrick Mahomes made sure to find Jalen Hurts for a classy post-Super Bowl handshake
During his tremendous run as Chiefs starting quarterback, Patrick Mahomes has been fortunate enough to win three Super Bowl titles. But he's also been on the losing end of those games twice. It's a tough spot for a quarterback to be in.
Still, no matter the defeat in that stage, Mahomes has managed to congratulate the winning quarterback. It was Tom Brady in 2021, and on Sunday, it was Jalen Hurts' turn.
Following the Eagles' dominant win in Super Bowl 59, cameras surrounded Mahomes and Hurts as the two quarterbacks met at midfield for a handshake. It was a great show of sportsmanship, considering Mahomes was seen tearful on the sidelines just moments earlier.

Though we couldn't hear what was said (yet), Hurts clearly appreciated the gesture. Back when the Chiefs defeated the Eagles in 2023's Super Bowl, we didn't have such a handshake between Mahomes and Hurts given the on-field mayhem of a game-winning field goal.
This was a far different game, and a scene that sports fans can appreciate.
