Derrick Rose was moved to tears by the Bulls deciding to retire his jersey

The Chicago Bulls will retire franchise legend Derrick Rose's No. 1 jersey next season, a major moment for one of the team's best-ever players.

Rose recently stepped away from the NBA, opening the door for Chicago to honor him and his time spent playing for the Bulls.

The team recently notified Rose of this monumental decision, and his teary reaction is pretty moving. You can tell how much this means to him after such an illustrious career in the NBA.

We'll have to wait a bit for Rose's jersey retirement ceremony, but the fact that it's happening so soon after his retirement just speaks to how great of a player he was.
