Death of St Arnicca announced after fall at Warrnambool jumps carnival

- Tim Yeatman rejoins me with some sad news.

TIM YEATMAN: Yeah, very sad news which Racing Victoria have just put out a statement which is quite difficult to comprehend, really, saying that Arnicca, unfortunately, has had to be humanely euthanized on the course after that really quite disturbing fall at the second to last obstacle.

We know Tom Ryan, thankfully, was able to walk back to the mountain yard. And he has escaped without serious injury. But unfortunately, the horse had to be euthanized. So some terribly sad news for Paul Preusker and connections. Obviously, a very, very tough time for all involved in the horse.
