NBA reporting legend David Aldridge joins Vince Goodwill to preview the Conference Finals, talk through what’s next for the Warriors and 76ers and discuss Ja Morant getting in trouble with a gun again. Cassandra Negley joins the show to preview the 2023 WNBA season.

We have a certified legend on the show this week in David Aldridge, and he sits down for an all-encompassing conversation with Vince Goodwill about everything currently going on in the NBA.

The guys start by talking about the reigning champion Golden State Warriors, who face a lot of serious roster-building questions this offseason and might just want to run in back again. Can they keep trying to build a young core to go with their veteran group?

Then we turn our attention to the Denver Nuggets, who look unstoppable, and the Los Angeles Lakers, who might have the historic defense needed to stop the Nuggets. Anthony Davis is going to need to do it all if the Lakers are going to make it to the Finals, but can he stay healthy while doing so?

Before jumping into the Eastern Conference Finals, David and Vince talk their way through a collapse by the Philadelphia 76ers against the Boston Celtics and what it means for the future of the franchise (and Joel Embiid).

Finally, Yahoo Sports WNBA writer Cassandra Negley joins the show to help preview the upcoming season. It’s a battle of the superteams in the WNBA, but many eyes are watching to see if Brittney Griner can return to her MVP-level of play after a year in a Russian prison.
