Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has sent the football world into meltdown after featuring in a bizarre ad for Shopee.

The five-time Ballon D’or winner isn’t a stranger to appearing in ads, but his latest dance moves as the new ambassador for Shopee - A South East Asian online shopping hub - has fans scratching their heads.

Ronaldo begins the advert scoring a goal.

But the ad takes an unusual twist when his jersey turns to the Shopee colour Orange.

With a mobile in his hand Ronaldo then begins the ‘Shopee dance’ which is cringe-worthy at best.

The ad has been labelled “the worse ever” on social media.
