Phillip Hughes funeral: As it happened

Phillip Hughes' family, friends, teammates and cricket fans around the country said goodbye to the late cricketer today.

Around 5000 people attended his funeral in his hometown of Macksville.

The ceremony was incredibly emotional with tributes from his borther Jason and sister Megan.

A heartfelt eulogy was delivered by Nino Ramunno before Australia captain Michael Clarke struggled to keep his emotions at bay as he remembered his great friend and teammate.

Hughes' father and brother lead the pallbearers out as Elton John's 'Don't let the sun go down on me' played before a procession through the main street of Macksville.
