Marsh throws bat in disgust after umpiring howler

Mitch Marsh was less than impressed after a controversial dismissal in Australia's tour game against the Sri Lankan Board XI in Colombo.

The Aussie all-rounder looked in fine form as he made his way to 25 in Australia's first innings on Tuesday before he was fired out by the umpire.

Marsh missed the ball as he was attempting to flick it away to the leg side, but the Sri Lankans all appealed after the keeper took a smart catch.

The umpire immediately sent Marsh on his way despite the Aussie shaking his head, the 24-year-old flinging his bat in the air and onto the ground as he made his way off.
