Khabib Nurmagemdov’s manager has launched a wild and scathing tirade at Conor McGregor after the Irishman lashed out at the Russian for staying in his homeland and not fighting Tony Ferguson due to the coronavirus pandemic.

McGregor recently slammed Khabib after he pulled out of the Ferguson championship fight - now the fifth time a bout between the pair has been cancelled - and claimed he was “running”.

But Khabib was forced to opt out of the fight after returning to his homeland and remained in isolation due to quarantine border laws.

This prompted UFC boss Dana White to appoint Justin Gaethje has the replacement fight.

Many had tipped McGregor to fight Gathje next for the No.1 contender spot, which has left McGregor in the UFC wilderness.

Now, Khabib’s manager Ali Abdelaziz launched a scathing rant at the Irishman and pointed out his criticism of Khabib was hypocritical since he has been leading a public safety message in Ireland to stay indoors.

“It’s crazy, because this guy’s been telling people to stay home, don’t go outside, he’s donating, spending millions of dollars,” he told TMZ in an interview.

“But now we know this sh*t is all fake. Now this sh*t is real because you’re telling everybody to stay home now (but) Khabib, the government of Russia says he can’t travel (and) you call him a chicken.”

McGregor no longer title contender: Abdelaziz

Abdelaziz said McGregor was no longer in the title conversation and had dropped down the pecking order.

"You’re telling everybody to stay home, now Khabib -- the government of Russia says he can’t travel, you’re going to call him a chicken?! [Conor] doesn’t matter,” Abdelaziz said.

"[Conor is not] #1, he’s not #2, he’s not #3. It’s Khabib, Justin, Tony. [Conor is] #4. He’s not even in the conversation right now. He’s just like a jealous prostitute, she’s got too old for her to make money."
