David Warner enjoyed a golden Summer with the bat after picking up the Allan Border Medal, but it is fair to say his Tik Tok skills don’t quite match those on the pitch.

Warner - like many cricketers such as Kevin Pietersen at home in isolation - has been posting Tik Tok videos with his children to pass time during the coronavirus pandemic.

And it is fair to say many of them have been adorable.

But Australia’s premier opening batter may have advanced a little too far down the pitch on Monday with fellow batsman Chris Lynn calling him out for his awkward dance moves.

Warner posted a daring video of his wife, Candice, and himself dancing to the ultra popular song ‘Blinging Lights’ by The Weeknd, which follows the trend set by many influencers.

David Warner was aware of his limitations when he wrote: “Two battler Tik Tik parents #help us lol @candywarner1.”

But even lowering expectations didn’t stop fellow T20 opener Lynn having a crack at the rather awkward dance.

“David we need to have a word,” he wrote, accompanied with a smiley face.

Warner responded: “@lynny_50 about what, I’m 33 and no idea what’s happening 😂😂. Can you help me pleaseeeeee.”

However, overall, the dance received plenty of praise and many requested more wholesome content from the Warner’s.

“Seems like you are enjoying quarantine,” one fan wrote.

While some asked for Warner to perform this dance after his next century for Australia.

Overall, David has been keeping busy with his new found fame on Tik Tok during self-isolation with his family.
