Conor McGregor hits back at fans over embarrassing NFL fail

Conor McGregor has responded to fan criticism after a not-so brilliant moment at an NFL game.

The Irishman was on the field before the Dallas Cowboys’ win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday.

He was the guest of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, delivering a pre-game rev-up for the team and attempting to show off some of his skills.

But the UFC star has since responded in typical Conor McGregor fashion.

“Yous’r f***ing ruthless on this side,” McGregor wrote on Instagram.

“I just didn’t want to rip my custom @augustmcgregor baby blue billionaire blazer. That was all, y’all.”

McGregor’s appearance was labelled “inspirational” by Jones.

The Cowboys recorded a huge 40-7 victory over their rivals, and McGregor’s pre-game hype has been lauded as a catalyst for the result.

Coming up against the defensive-oriented Jacksonville Jaguars, Dallas brought in the boisterous athlete to give them a pep talk.

Ahead of the Week 6 game, McGregor greeted players, took pictures with Jerry Jones and was involved in the pre-game huddle:
