Conor McGregor confronts Jake, Logan Paul: 'I'm gonna slap the head off the two of yous and KSI'
Conor McGregor hasn't fought in a while, but his competitive banter still remains as strong as ever.
The former two-division UFC champion's next move could be a lucrative bout against Logan Paul in India. According to initial rumors, the purses could total $250 million for the showdown between McGregor and Paul, but the fight isn't yet set in stone.
McGregor confronted his potential opponent Logan and his brother Jake Paul earlier this week while on their way to the United States presidential inauguration. McGregor's energy was off the charts, but he kept things professional enough while talking trash to the Paul Brothers as they rode on the same bus to the event.
Portions of their interactions were captured in a vlog posted to Logan's YouTube channel.
"It's all sweet here, yeah?" McGregor said as he approached Logan outside to ask about their fight. "You kept your mouth shut, you did. I thought we were gonna get the fight going? You're very quiet. You're giving all this Dana this, Dana that – you're f*cking controlled by the WWE as well, bro. ... Bring it home for me."
Moments later on the bus, McGregor continued to discuss the potential showdown, suggesting the fight take place at 190 or 195 pounds.
"Here's the deal, I'm gonna slap the head off the two of yous, and KSI," McGregor said just inches away from Jake and Logan. "All three. ... Side jobs. A little side job, yeah?"
"You can't even do your main job, how you gonna do a side job?" Logan quipped in a witty response. "... It's crazy being on a bus with you. If there's a dolly it would be going through a window."
Despite the trash talk, the interactions were jovial and somewhat light hearted as McGregor simply appeared interested in securing another big payday in combat sports. Afterall, he hasn't fought since breaking his leg in a trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.
Logan, who has recently re-dedicated himself to his career as a wrestler in WWE, was last in the boxing ring in October 2023, when he won an exhibition against Dillon Danis by TKO when all hell broke loose.
