Conor McGregor announces birth of son Rían
Conor McGregor has yet another reason to celebrate in 2021. Less than a week after being named the highest paid athlete in the world, McGregor celebrated the birth of his newborn son, Rían.
McGregor made the announcement on Instagram. He said both his wife and Rían were "doing great."
Rían is McGregor's third child with his fiancée Dee Devlin. The couple has another son, Conor Jack, and a daughter, Croia.
Conor McGregor wants fight against Charles Oliveira
McGregor hasn't fought since 2020, but already knows his next opponent. McGregor hinted that he wants to take on Charles Oliveira after Oliveira defeated Michael Chandler at UFC 262 on Saturday. Following that fight, McGregor congratulated Oliveira, but made it clear McGregor wants to take the belt next.
Congrats to Olivera on becoming the 11th UFC lightweight champion.

Oliveira is on board with that fight, but it comes with one condition: McGregor needs to beat Dustin Poirier first.

UFC president Dana White echoed that sentiment, saying he would need to see how McGregor performed against Poirier before giving McGregor a shot at Oliveira.
