What color Gatorade will the Chiefs or Eagles pour on their coach after Super Bowl 2025?
There may not be a prop bet more synonymous with fun Super Bowl bets than the market for color of Gatorade to be poured on the winning coach. It's also one of the easiest props to fool yourself into thinking you know more than you do.
Unlike something like the coin toss, which is a true 50-50 bet with no hints as to which way things might go, there are sometimes clues about different teams' Gatorade preferences. Those clues inform bets, which inform odds, which have suddenly shifted at BetMGM towards the color purple for Super Bowl LIX between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.
The odds for purple moved from +350 to +250 on Wednesday, jumping ahead of yellow/green/lime (+300) and red/pink (+350). Why? The answer might have something to do with the Chiefs being favored to win their third straight Super Bowl -- and the color Gatorade they poured on Andy Reid after the last two.
It was purple.

It is worth noting, however, the Chiefs went with orange (+400) when they won in 2020.
Of course, this all ignores the possibility of Philadelphia winning. If you like the Eagles in the Super Bowl, yellow/green/lime is probably still the way to go. That was the color of Gatorade they poured on Nick Sirianni after winning the NFC Championship last weekend. It was also the Eagles' preferred Gatorade when they reached the Super Bowl two years ago.
