Clement 'not expecting' Yilmaz exit from Rangers

Philippe Clement "doesn't expect" Ridvan Yilmaz to leave Rangers, despite speculation linking the left-back with a return to Besiktas.

"He's injured," Clement told BBC Scotland before Sunday's meeting with Ross County. "We can only let players go that perform well if we can replace them by better players, so I don't expect that in the case of Ridvan."

In terms of incomings, Clement is adamant plenty of work is going on behind the scenes with the directors and recruitment staff.

"We had meetings about players who have the level to help the team and to help us go the next level," the Belgian says. "We will see now in the next couple of hours what's possible for the club."
