Chris Paul sledged by NBA mates after nude photoshoot

Viral gymnast Katelyn Ohashi and Australian WNBA superstar Liz Cambage were widely praised for appearing nude in ESPN’s famous Body Issue shoots, but NBA superstar Chris Paul’s friends don’t seem to have gotten the body positivity memo just yet.

The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard posted a picture of his own photoshoot for the ESPN feature, but some of his high profile contemporaries in the NBA couldn’t help but weigh in.

Paul, who was recently traded to the Thunder from the Rockets in exchange for former MVP Russell Westbrook, posted the image in his Instagram, clearly happy with how the shoot turned out.

“Man listen! It seems counter intuitive to think you would start feeling better in your body as you get older, but that’s EXACTLY the path I’m on!!” Paul wrote.

“34, recently turned plant-based, and feeling pretty damn good! Stay disciplined and take care of yourselves, it all starts here!”

Unfortunately for the nine-time All-Star, the likes of Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups and DeAndre Jordan, among others, couldn’t help but weigh in on the revealing shots.

“How I’m supposed to eat my jello after seeing this...?” Jordan queried.

Former Finals MVP Billups, having embarked on a broadcast career since his NBA retirement, also had some choice advice for the ‘Point God’.

“I’m glad u feelin good youngsta, but put some damn cloths on,” Billups wrote.

The mockery didn’t end with past and present NBA stars.

Even the likes of Zaire Wade and Bronny James, sons of Dwyane Wade and LeBron James respectively, couldn’t help but give Paul some stick for the pictures.
