'Disgusting': Tennis world floored by crazy post-match fight in player's box
Crazy scenes marred the China Open recently when a fight broke out in a player’s box during a match.
Local favourite Zhang Shuai was battling Angelique Kerber when a violent scene played out in Zhang’s box.

A fan sitting immediately behind Zhang’s box was reportedly cheering for Kerber when a guest of Zhang’s - said to be the brother of her coach - lashed out.
The guy in blue shirt is Zhang Shuai's player box's guest, and he was assauting and beating one of Angie's Chinese fan after the match, blaming the Angie's Chinese fans cheering for Angie in Zhang Shuai's hometown, I think that's why Zhang shuai got so many haters pic.twitter.com/aJ7qWMVf3u

According to social media reports, the Zhang guest was upset by something the fan said, yelling “You all f***ing shut up”.
The Kerber fan then retaliated, sparking the fight.
There are also claims the Kerber fan spat at Zhang’s guest and slapped Zhang’s mother.
According to this testimony, the Kerber fan boy who got hit was the first one who started physical violence towards the Shuai fan who asked Kerber fanclub not to celebrate right into Shuai’s team. This Kerber fan boy also slapped Shuai’s mother in her face...🙄🌚

I’ve heard 2 stories. The first that this is Zhang’s hometown tourney and her box didn’t appreciate Kerber fans directly behind them and then this ensued. The second was that the fans were making nasty comments towards Zhang’s mother and family

Tennis world in shock over ‘disgusting’ scenes
Kerber claimed a hard-fought 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 victory - probably why the fan in question was celebrating so feverishly.
Tennis fans were rather taken aback by the crazy scenes.
